What a Party! What a Party!

That's right, another party at K-9 Town, USA. Omar called the last one a celebration so he says that didn't count. He says this one was the biggest K-9 Town has had so far. He even got me involved. A good example. I'm puppy sitting cute little miniature poodle Lucy Grim. Her ma and pa don't know about the party, of course. Omar is like a big brother to Lucy. Poodle Sophie Jean and the other females can't wait to see her again. She's a little wild one. Just like Sophie when she was younger. Lucy's the youngest at the party but in the best of care. Here she is now, wearing her best bling, impatiently waiting for Omar.

Omarrr! We're gonna be late.

Remember Joe and his family's sweetie pie leonberger Scarlett. I have her tonight too. She wanted to go ahead because she knew the way and her K-9 Town leonberger family were waiting for her (See them on your right.) Here she is.

See you when you get there.

If that wasn't enough. My cousin Paula has gone out for the night and her two little cuties Buddy and Roscoe were waiting for Omar and Lucy to swing by and pick them up. Look at them. Bling and scarf. Dressed to kill for the
K-9 Town, USA party.

Do we look good, or what.

This is what I found out about the party.

K-9 Town was all aglow
They really did it right
A big, big party going on
With plenty guests tonight.

See Lucy and Lufa
poodle and hound
Really whooping it up
Even Charlotte the leonberger's back tonight
Joe and family's partying pup.

Can you pick out Lucy Grim and Little Roscoe? I can.

Omar says this party was
The grandest they ever had
To show their thanks for the lives they lead
Cause there's nothing they would add.

The fate of their beloved K-9 Town
Is written in the sky
Their dance more like a ritual
Glowing to the naked eye.

They know what they are there for
A job they love to do
Bring in the abused and lonely
To share this lifestyle too.

When the party was finally over
Pack and friends ready for bed
I asked Omar Blue how did Lucy do
OMG!!

The life of the party, he said.

We're taking it on the road

The K-9 Town Meeting
I asked Omar Blue if he and his pack would consider helping me and daughter Joy again do a reading for children with special needs tomorrow at one of our hospitals. What you see is the meeting where he asked the pack if they would consider it. Of course they said yes, as long as we have them back at K-9 Town in a few hours. They certainly don't have to worry about that. Could you imagine them somehow getting out. Bet the children would love it though.

Like our traveling case? They don't feel anything but Omar had to tell them. They are actually helping him. Guess you can call them my consultants. Who better since my book is Omar Blue and K-9 Town, USA.

Their presence will only be known by me, but by them being there, its almost like magic the way my audiences are swept into K-9 Town as though they were members of the pack. We've yet to pinpoint the mystique that surrounds Omar and his pack but we know there is definitely something special about them. I've proven that several times. Right!

Wish us luck please, because the truth in my true tale today is that we plan to make a lot of children happy tomorrow.

Boys will be boys

What you see just below are my boys hamming it up. They had just come in and where they got all this energy I don't know, well, in Omar's case I do. He's energy packed. I hate to admit it but that's me you hear in the background. After all, they had to have an announcer, didn't they? Don't be offended, I think I threw in a tiny, weeny bad word here or there.
