The Seers' Mischief

I just finished telling you about Seers Great Dane Granny and Komondor Rasta Mama, and how we have to keep a close eye on 'em. Here's a good example of what I was talking about.

When the timber wolves came to take over K-9 Town, the Seers weren't having it! They took off on their own, as usual. I had Wolf Bennie Ba and my big brother Thor from Iron Dog Land watching them but they had no way of knowing what those two sly old dogs were up to, until...

See what happened over at Altered Reality Magazine. Ma's tellin it in the action packed Chapter 12 of our serial, The Takeover.

Enjoy!

Great Dane Granny and Komondor Rasta Mama are feeling neglected again. Can't let that happen. Here they are, our K-9 Town Seers. They're fearless and their potions give them special powers. (I keep a close eye on them, because sometimes it backfires.)

Find out what they're up to this time, in the newly revised Book 2 of our K-9 Town adventures, "Led by an Eagle." We were on our way to Iron Dog Land so my pack could meet my kin. Those mountain lions shouldn't have followed us...

Happy Easter

Babee Blue is spending Easter with me here at K-9 Town. We've been gathering puppies all day to say Happy Easter to everyone. They aren't too happy about it. Haha.

Anyway... HAPPY EASTER from all of us!

A Puppy's Gone Missing

A puppy's gone missing, where could it be
not a canine had seen it, no clue
A meeting was held, a decision was made they had to go tell Omar Blue. A thoughtful leader, and very smart he’d know where the puppy would be but no matter where, he ventured to look the puppy, he still did not see. Then a thought came to Omar, the one missing piece he hadn’t talked with its kin he went to the mommy, who suddenly recalled her litter was nine, and not ten! Read about the adventures of Omar Blue and his courageous pack in the newly revised edition of "Led by an Eagle."

A Thoughtful Stroll

Omar often told me

about walks he took alone

while at his beloved K-9 Town

I wished I hadn’t known.

He said he’d walk for hours

sometimes be gone all day

to see what threats awaited his pack

to handle them his way.

He told me they were thoughtful strolls

that was only partially true

he was looking for signs of danger

I wished the others knew.

His pack would have been by his side

rain, sleet, sun, or snow

but I had to keep his secret

I couldn’t let them to know.

Though many things have changed now

the threats are far and few

he continues to take his thoughtful strolls

it’s what good Leaders do.

What's ailing Babee Blue - Tell big brother

Ma was worried about Babee. When he came home from K-9 Town, he was acting funny. Doing a lot of pouting. We decided I'd handle it. That's what big brothers are for.

I took him up to "Tell It Mountain." That mountain makes all of us start talkin. Babee did have a problem. He couldn't understand why some of his friends can come and go from K-9 Town, while others stay without ever leaving... and they don't mind at all.

It didn't take long. I explained, how some dogs come after crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Others, like him and his friends, depend on Ma to get 'em here. He knew better than to ask how she does it. Nobody knows, and she ain't tellin.

I still had to get to the root of the problem. Can't have my baby brother suffering. Then I realized what it was... Babee's got a gal.

Meet Jemma. Is she cute or what! Babee wants Ma to meet her but he can't see how, cause Jemma came from over The Bridge.

I convinced him that Ma already knows about Jemma. She just don't want to interfere. (We both howled at that one.) Anyway, her thing is... what happens at K-9 Town... stays at K-9 Town. That's what makes us so special.

Babee understood. He snapped out of it right away. Couldn't wait to go down from "Tell It Mountain," to find Jemma and the rest of his friends here.

I stayed awhile. It's one of my favorite places.

The Seers take charge... Uh Oh!

Did I tell y'all about when our two take-charge Seers, Granny and Rasta Mama came to me with a plan to get those timber wolves away from here.

I had a time explaining that wouldn't be a good thing. Had to think fast.

They're talking about it over at Altered Reality Mag.

See what happened easily, over to your left, for a shortcut. Or,

Contemplation

I didn't  mention it, with the holidays and all, but I wanna finish telling you what happened after Shocka Din and his bunch got to K-9 Town, planning to take over.

Remember, he split 'em up... Sent their she-wolves to scare our females, while the rest of 'em ambled over to where me and the other males were.

We're a peace loving bunch, but sometimes...

The whole episode is at Altered Reality Magazine. Here's how you get there...

K-9 Town Holidays - Ain't Misbehaving

Hi Everyone.

We were gettin ready to take off our New Year's Eve Party stuff, from Ma, but as you can see, she caught us before we could. When they knew what she was up to, my pack scattered real fast. Up and left me, just like that.

Bennie Ba left last. Making sure it was just Ma. You know Bennie. Safety first. Too bad for him 'cause she caught 'um. Well, almost...

Christmas went off without a glitch. I kept Santa company for a while. The children loved me, I mean "us." Ruff ruff.

After that I helped him with the deliveries... then we headed for home. I'm gonna report him for speedin. He was really movin. Arf arf

The puppies stayed awake as long as they could.  They were afraid to take their naps. Said they might miss Santa again. We didn't squawk. Ruff ruff. Babee and the other doggie t'weens tired them out. Yep, my baby brother was here with me. Ma wouldn't have it otherwise. Anyway... the pups were fast asleep by the time Santa arrived. Too cute!

Santa stayed for our Christmas Party. Told you he would. Here he is with our crooning Bloodhound, Lufa, dancing the morning away.... ~~Go Santa~~ ~~Go Santa~~

You may have noticed, I skipped away from our New Year's Eve Party. I meant to. All I'm sayin is, It Was A Doozy!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

From Me, My Pack, and of course, Ma

Christmas Preparations at K-9 Town

Had our Christmas meeting last nite, after the puppies were sleep. We put a guard on 'em to make sure they weren't peeping out, little devils. They're mighty smart, to be so young. That's our fault. Ruff ruff

Babee will be here. Him and the other 'tweens will make sure the puppies are tired and sleepy when the time is right. Some running around and rough-housing with 'em will do that.

I'll be helping Santa make his rounds, then bringing him here after the last drop-off. He's staying for our Christmas party after he visits the puppies, because he loves ending Christmas Eve with us. He's a "party animal." (pun intended)

Hope you'll stop by. Always fun watching Santa "drop it like it's hot." Woof

Happy Holidays!

Attorney with Paws - Making the Rounds

I'm proud of my baby brother, Babee. He took up where I left off. He's the second, Attorney-with-Paws, representing all dogs. Here we are, before I did all my living here at K-9 Town.

Ma taught us how Christmas is important. He's out now, reminding families about the good jobs his friends have done to keep everyone focused on the good things, while they go through these hard times. Telling 'em they should put extras in their Christmas stockings this year.

We're with you Babee Blue! See you on Christmas Eve!!

Omar Blue and the Higher Calling

Omar

Woof woof. Lots going on. I been asked, by a group I ain't supposed to name, to help out at a place far away, called Waaythere. More people and things are finding a way to get there. Some of 'em, up to no good. The population there is afraid. That's where me, and Ollie here, come in. We're called "Peacekeepers." We both have special skills, so we can handle the no-gooders.

Here we are after we took our oath. I want you to see Ollie. This is the best I could do. She's as dark as night, and got a little cat in her. I visited her home place. They're all like that. Real fighters for doing what's right, too. Just like us. A good bunch.

I ran this by my pack. They're all for it. I know how they think... Whatever I'm into... they're into. Here's some comments I got. You'll see what I mean, arf arf.

Major Diggs (Second in Charge)

"You gotta do it Omar. We'll be fine. Not like we can't get you back here real fast. Ma will see to that. I'll see we all behave. You'll be needing our help sometime too, for sure... right?"

Brady and Sammy

"Yeah! Do it Omar. No reason not to, if they need "us."  Oops! We mean 'you...'"

"Seers" Great Dane Granny and Komondor Rasta Mama

"Don't worry Omar, we'll keep our pack safe..." We better start working on a travel potion Rasta Mama. He's gonna be needing us.

Afghan Bee Bee

"Us females want to meet with Ollie. Bring her to us, Omar.  Don't forget!" It's a female thing. She'll be needing us.

King Cat Sateer

I expected this visit from Sateer...

"What are you up to, my friend. If you need us, we're here. Bring the cat-woman to see me." Meow.. Some excitement is afoot.

***
Ollie and me will be handling problems at Waaythere, as they arise. We're leaving for our first case right away.

Don't worry. We'll be fine.

See you soon.

Omar
