It happened, just like I said it would, 

'cause it's how, we always do it.

Santa and me, were ready to go,

no need waiting, we got right to it. 

Santa disregarded, his naughty list,

about that, we're never surprised.

'Cause our puppies don't fit, on the other list,

which he long ago, surmised.

They were nestled asleep, heavy eyelids, 

when Santa and I, tipped in.

a present for each, to console them,

after missing dear Santa again.

The party got started, before Santa parted,

he stayed, until first light.

We sang and danced, we howled and pranced,

through a K-9 Town, Christmas Eve, night.

My baby brother, Babee Blue, is running around wishing all our family and friends Happy Holidays. 

Ma's letting him spend Christmas with me and his friends, here at K-9 Town. I was thinking about making him Santa Dog and letting the puppies get a glance at him on Christmas Eve. I spoke to Santa Claus, and he wasn't going for that. He loves making K-9 Town his last stop and joining us for the big late-night party. He'll be "dropping it like it's hot" again this year as Lufa, our melodious bloodhound, howls the night away.

I'll be helping Santa, then riding with him back here at the end of his deliveries, as usual. That's always exciting! We're good friends.

Whether or not you’ve been keepin’ up, you know the timber wolves came here huntin’ trouble. We finally got all that straight. It wasn’t easy, but it worked out just fine. There was plenty action and excitement that day. We’re still talkin’ about it.

Assault on the Elders' Utopia - Omar's Alter Ego

 

A distress signal had Omar Blue's alter ego, "Omar," and his partner "Bee" dashing to their next assignment. The Peacekeepers were en route to planet Ebetor. 

Mission: Stop Invasion of Tobarians - Wanted throughout Cosmos for Most Despicable Crimes and Cruelties. 

A multi-universe collaboration discovered planet Obetor’s atmosphere prolonged the lives of aged beings indefinitely, though detrimental to middle ages and younger. Alien benefactors contribute generously to the comfort of Obetor’s inhabitants, and their own foreseeable futures, resulting in a Utopian haven for the elderly.

The Peacekeepers receive assistance in the form of a transport vehicle, but to their astonishment, find it's much more than it appears to be... 

“I’m Ollie. Sent by THAR,” it blurted out from an undetectable source. “I’m a solo, fully weaponized prototype, programmed to react to you only. Your history of unavoidable violence, and brutality, reveal you offer the most efficient test of my unproven capabilities.”

More Halloween Madness

My old Halloween buddy, Zilly Boo, stopped by to check on Ma. There we are, some years back.

She looks better, but I see she's still drinking a lot. I warned her about that, because she can't hold her liquor. She's at Ma's now. Won't be goin' nowhere until she gets sober. Ma will see to that. She always says "take care of your friends."

We live by that, here at K-9 Town.

 

Halloween Madness

You may recall, I was the first "Attorney with Paws." 

After I left the outer world, my baby brother took over. Babee has been overseeing the well being of our friends. Halloween is a busy season because they don't want to get dressed up like goons, ghouls and ghosts.

Sometimes there's a little trouble. Here's how Babee's handling it:

Weekend with big brother at K-9 Town

Babee Blue is visiting Omar, and his good friends, at K-9 Town this weekend. By now he and big brother are catching up on everything they've done since last time. Then he'll run wild for the rest of the weekend with his mischievous friends. I hope Omar doesn't mention that he and timber wolf Shocka Din's confrontation will be happening soon... I'm not even gonna think about that.

Shocka and his pack are disrupting the peace and tranquility of K-9 Town and Omar ain't having it. Here's what he told me...

"I don’t know why I’m puttin’ so much thought into this. I could’ve gotten rid of Shocka Din, with a pointless scuffle, when they got here. Instead I let ‘em get comfortable. Now his females are bonding with ours, he’s wandering around looking for answers he’ll never find, half his males are rambling aimlessly while the other half are laying around getting lazy. Why should I care? Because they’re helpless, and don’t know it. And, timber wolf Shocka Din is a lot like wolf Bennie Ba and most of the others here, before we found each other. To bad it has to end up like this."

Something Crueler Came Our Way

I've been telling you about when the timber wolves came to K-9 Town to take over. The time came when we had to ignore them, even before Shocka Din and me had it out.

Rasta Mama and Great Dane Granny had visions alerting us that something much worse was coming.  Those two may stay in trouble, with their potions and all, but we know to listen to their dreams and premonitions. We never took the wolves serious anyway.

I'll never forget the day everything changed. There was no wild panic. Except for the females, and they had good reason.

We come from all over. We were the mistreated and abused before we found Omar Blue and the rest of our friends here. Some of us came over the beautiful Rainbow Bridge, to escape pain and sickness. We chose adventure, instead of peace and tranquility.

We share our adventures. Don't miss when those vicious mountain lions followed us into the mountains. They were up to no good, so don't feel sorry for them.

Shocka Takes a Walk

Shocka Din's so busy being curious about what goes on here, he's forgetting why he came. I'm thinkin' he knows he won't be taking over my pack and K-9 Town but he's got a lot of pride so him and me will be mixing it up at some point. My pack is wondering how long we're gonna put up with him.

I'm keeping a close eye. He's off trying to find out stuff. Maybe he'll find some sense. My good friend King Cat Sateer is a good place for him to start, but he'd better behave or he'll be sorry.

The Seers' Mischief

I just finished telling you about Seers Great Dane Granny and Komondor Rasta Mama, and how we have to keep a close eye on 'em. Here's a good example of what I was talking about. 

When the timber wolves came to take over K-9 Town, the Seers weren't having it! They took off on their own, as usual. I had Wolf Bennie Ba and my big brother Thor from Iron Dog Land watching them but they had no way of knowing what those two sly old dogs were up to, until...

 Great Dane Granny and Komondor Rasta Mama are feeling neglected again. Can't let that happen. Here they are, our K-9 Town Seers. They're fearless and their potions give them special powers. (I keep a close eye on them, because sometimes it backfires.)

Babee Blue is spending Easter with me here at K-9 Town. We've been gathering puppies all day to say Happy Easter to everyone. They aren't too happy about it. Haha.

Me and some of my pack want to wish everyone a happy Sunday and week to come. 

A Puppy's Gone Missing

A puppy's gone missing, where could it be

not a canine had seen it, no clue

A meeting was held, a decision was made they had to go tell Omar Blue. A thoughtful leader, and very smart he’d know where the puppy would be but no matter where, he ventured to look the puppy, he still did not see. Then a thought came to Omar, the one missing piece he hadn’t talked with its kin he went to the mommy, who suddenly recalled her litter was nine, and not ten! When you look for trouble, you find it

The mountain lions were huntin' trouble. They were headed for K-9 Town when they met up with Professor Brady and Pitbull Sammy. They found what they were looking for.

A Thoughtful Stroll

Omar often told me

about walks he took alone

while at his beloved K-9 Town

I wished I hadn’t known.

 

He said he’d walk for hours

sometimes be gone all day

to see what threats awaited his pack

to handle them his way.

 

He told me they were thoughtful strolls

that was only partially true

he was looking for signs of danger

I wished the others knew.

 

His pack would have been by his side

rain, sleet, sun, or snow

but I had to keep his secret

I couldn’t let them to know.

Though many things have changed now

the threats are far and few

he continues to take his thoughtful strolls

it’s what good Leaders do.

 

What's ailing Babee Blue - Tell big brother

 

Ma was worried about Babee. When he came home from K-9 Town, he was acting funny. Doing a lot of pouting. We decided I'd handle it. That's what big brothers are for.

I took him up to "Tell It Mountain." That mountain makes all of us start talkin. Babee did have a problem. He couldn't understand why some of his friends can come and go from K-9 Town, while others stay without ever leaving... and they don't mind at all.

It didn't take long. I explained, how some dogs come after crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Others, like him and his friends, depend on Ma to get 'em here. He knew better than to ask how she does it. Nobody knows, and she ain't tellin. 

I still had to get to the root of the problem. Can't have my baby brother suffering. Then I realized what it was... Babee's got a gal.

Meet Jemma. Is she cute or what! Babee wants Ma to meet her but he can't see how, cause Jemma came from over The Bridge.

I convinced him that Ma already knows about Jemma. She just don't want to interfere. (We both howled at that one.) Anyway, her thing is... what happens at K-9 Town... stays at K-9 Town. That's what makes us so special.

Babee understood. He snapped out of it right away. Couldn't wait to go down from "Tell It Mountain," to find Jemma and the rest of his friends here.

I stayed awhile. It's one of my favorite places.
