A K-9 Town Halloween
I was able to go to K-9 Town again. Don’t ask how, you know I don’t know. I thought about it, it happened. I had a ball. Had no idea what was going on so I watched all I could. The puppies were playing of course, but the Elders were planning something. I could tell. It was so exciting. Later at home, I asked Omar what was going on. After he explained….
I think I finally realized
What Omar intends to do
K-9 Town is almost like a town for me and you
They’re leaving us the bad things
They’re laws reflect the good
They’re even having holidays
I agree, I think they should.
(I’ll get a chance to help again, he, he.)

A K-9 TOWN HALLOWEEN
The puppies were getting ready
For a thing named Halloween
Tonight they could run around and play
Even go where they can’t be seen.
There’s talk about some monsters
And other scary things
But we don’t care we’re going out there
We can handle whatever they bring.
So off they went to run and play
And search for Halloween
They’d go as far and fast as they could
This freedom sure was keen.
They hadn’t really gone too far
But of course they thought they had
When out of the sky came Monster Ghost
This was gonna be real bad.
We heard it loves to eat puppies
The Elders mentioned that tonight
We only want to find Halloween
Now we have to run out of sight.
They ran so hard they didn’t see
The Elders standing by
All they wanted was Halloween
Not that thing from out of the sky.
Laid out and giving thought
Maybe we shouldn’t have run from it
We should have stayed and fought.
Too bad we didn’t think of that
They decided with heavy eyes
Next time we look for Halloween
We’ll catch him by surprise.
The Elders were watching the puppies
As they’d been doing all night
They thanked their good friend Monster Ghost
For helping with Halloween night.
